Terry Williams, B.A. M.C.S.

Terry is a senior member of MAZE Consulting Inc. with over 20 years experience in the fields of Communications and Social Research. In recent years this experience has enhanced her growing specialization in Public Participation. Her expertise in client-centered project design and research methodologies ensures that every project addresses the needs of her clients and achieves the highest levels of accuracy, reliability and validity. Terry has applied her experience and skills in stakeholder analysis, project design, research tool development, interviewing, facilitation, and data analysis to a wide variety of projects. Recent examples include:

• Design and implementation of a public engagement strategy to create a City-owned vision for the City of Fort McMurray.
• Plan 8 World Café for the Municipal District of Rocky View to facilitate the gathering of public input towards the creation of an area structure plan
• Stakeholder Analysis in the Development of a Facilitator’s Guide for working with People with Disabilities
• Collaboration on the development of a policy framework on City roles and responsibilities regarding people with disabilities for the City of Calgary.
• Collaboration on the reframing of Citizen Engagement Principles for the City of Calgary.

Terry has been an active member of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) serving on the board of the Wild Rose (Alberta) IAP2 chapter, and as a member of the international IAP2 research committee.
